The 2009 New Jersey State Rowing Championships is dedicated to the memory of Dick Martin.

 

Dick was a local legend in New Jersey Surfboat Rowing.  A friend, a father, a competitor, a Marine, a mentor, a teacher, an entrepreneur, a coach, an athlete…..we should all hope be half the man he was.

 

God bless you Dick.  I know that wherever you are, the wind is at your back and the oars are light in your hands.
